Day 13 - Someone Special to You

This is my sister's graduation photo - she passed away seventeen years ago today. I miss her very much, we were very close. After she moved out of the house we would still 'watch' television shows together. We would get on the phone and watch the shows and talk about them - I still smile remembering some of the shows we watched together. I think she really would have enjoyed White Collar and would laugh that I am trying to write fan fiction for it.

watching shows over the phone is so much fun! I did that a couple times with my mom, simply we would call each other, and the show or film would start on TV.

It is fun to watch the shows over the phone – with my sister and I it happened by accident the first time – we were on the phone and had the same television show on in the background. We both started to laugh about something on the show and it became a kind of tradition for us to watch certain programs that way.

I kind of laugh about the hairdo – but she was 10 years older than me, and when she graduated that was the style, 10 years later things changed a lot, and now even more relaxed in graduation pictures. They were still formal when I graduated, although a little more relaxed. Now you rarely see the formal sittings.

She would definitely have been a fan of White Collar and I think Castle as well. I know she would have enjoyed all the wonderful White Collar stories that everyone writes – so much goodness to enjoy :-)
